Danielle Katz

Originally from a small town on the Northern California coast, Danielle Katz grew up whitewater rafting, hiking in the local mountains, horseback riding on the beach, and participating in the Bay Area theatre community. She spent two summers at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, where she received acting training and worked as a senior assistant for the festival’s prestigious education program.

Danielle was accepted to UCLA's School of Theater, Film and Television and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre in 2003. While working towards her degree, Danielle also studied acting abroad at the British American Academy and the University of Kent in England. Her professional theatre associations include the Los Angeles Theatre Ensemble and Company of Fools.

Danielle is a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist, who leads an environmentally conscious and physically active lifestyle. She enjoys guiding whitewater rafting trips in Oregon and Alaska, traveling, and has co-led art tours in French Polynesia, Italy and France.

Last summer Danielle kayaked 2,300 miles down the length of the Mississippi River to help raise money and awareness for Global Water Issues. She has just returned from tramping around New Zealand and Australia and after living in a tent for the majority of the last 8 months, is readjusting to life in the city once more.
